I have 8 months to prepare for Step I and would appreciate info the best review books/resources I should use in that time. This is what I've been told by a few people:

First Aid
BRS Pathology
BRS Physiology
Lippincott Pharm
Lippincott Biochem
High Yield Series
Q Bank

Please let me know if there are any important books/resources I am missing which can make a difference.

BTW, somebody is offering to sell me these Kaplan books real cheap that cover each system. They are like 8 or so books that look as if they are high-yield for every body system plus behavioral science. Has anybody used them and are they worth it or should I stick to what I have? I just don't want to overburden myself with reading material that cover the same stuff. The books are from 2000.

Thanks for your help :)

I have a set of Kaplan books and they are great. I am going to use them along with First Aid, Qbank and Goljan notes and BRS for path.
