Anyone else dropped their name into registration when the system opened up this past 15th?
My app still pending.

Just need some quick study tips on how to tackle this.
Background: Graduated PGY1 June 2019. Currently in ED/CC Specialist Position.
Got my hands on the "ACCP Updates in Therapeutics 2017 (Pharmacotherapy Review+Recertification Course)".

Seems like alot of nitty gritty info. I know this is about studying smart.
Feel like im highlighting alot and just writing down "1st line, 2nd line .... inclusion/exclusion criteria".

Can anyone speak on the exam (taking it in the last 3yrs) of what to expect?
And please dont refer me to "sEe tHe OuTliNe oN BcPS". Thanks.

What is the range for passing (estimate). Sounds like around 490 ish?? . Your results seem very consistent May I ask how did you study for the exam? Did your scores on the mock exam stay within the same range as well?. I plan to take it next spring, and want advice on the good way to prepare for it.

I found the most helpful was breaking the chapters of the ACCP by disease. So for the infectious disease, I put a tab on where cap, hap, uti..., so I can easily test myself by using the tabs. Getting through the ACCP book, listening to the lectures, and you should be good. Many of the ACCP lecturers were previous test writers, so they will give their insight into what other question writers my say. I printed the book from the pdf, it was easier for me so I can actively study. (I did not want to buy a $1000 ipad). Start going through the book, reading a chapter a day or QOD, then go back and highlight the treatments.

I’ve reviewed the materials from ACCP. I plan to take the exam in spring 2021. I started to get nervous already .
I definitely need to do the mock exam from ACCP. Do you recommend the exam from ASHP as well. Btw, am I able to work on 1 subject at a time or the questions are randomly listed? (I meant on the mock exam) I did the review questions after each section in ACCP and made around 70ish.
I recommend the ASHP mock exam! I saw many similar questions on the exam! It is worth the money! Read all explanations for each answer! You won’t regret it :)

One of my friends passed her psych certification and she's already certified on the site. But it says cert date 12/31/20? Can she start to use BCPP in her credentials or should she wait till 12/31?
I'm being hopeful now but still very scared! Good luck everyone!

Good luck. I hope you will do great. Not long now. Coincidentally, I remember being on vacation when they were reporting results. That was the only way I was not checking constantly. Good ole non-COVID-19 days! Here's an interesting article about first time pass rates.

One question
Are we suppose to get email that result are available? Also which section of mybps would it be ?
Thanks
Some people get the email before they realize that the site has been updated, but it's certainly possible to sign in and see that your results are in before you receive an email . That happened to me.

I'll let someone else answer where on the site is your results. I no longer remember.

go to account details, then click on certification tab. you will see the result or if it says eligible.

I took my exam 10/12. Do they roll out based on test date or based on last name?
Neither it’s random. But from past experiences (unfortunately) I can tell you that if your results don’t post on the first day it’s not good. Usually the “Failed” results post on day 2

I passed 573! How is that possible? I will take it. Thanks everyone for coping with my anxiety and multiple posts.
Good luck everyone and it was a hard test don't feel too hard on yourself, try again and for sure next time you will pass.

Congartulations! Can I ask what study materials did you use?

Congratulations to all who passed! and try again if you didn't :)

Any suggestions on the best study materials that worked? Shooting for April 2021
High yield Med reviews is the best by far... as long as you watch all the videos and do all the questions you are like guaranteed to pass

congratulations!!!! that's a really really nice score. you must be really smart. wish you good luck for future!!

I got a 608! I'm thrilled.

I had scheduled to take it during my PGY2 last May but COVID closed my testing center.

After finishing PGY2 and not being able to find a job I struggled to find the motivation to study and did very little studying between May and October except to review stats the week before the exam. I went in to the exam fully expecting to fail.

I got a job and learned I passed all in the same week. It's been a good week!

I reviewed the stats chapters in the ACCP review book and that seemed to be sufficient.
Almost all the stats questions were more basic than I was expecting. A lot of questions where they present you with results and ask you what the correct interpretation of the results are.
There were a few questions that required you to know which type of statistical analysis was most appropriate, so find a table that simplifies that stuff and memorize it.

I have a question about HYMR online lectures. I just bought 6 month access but lectures only giving me 5 redemptions times only for each lecture. Will this be enough time to review? why they don't give unlimited access? Please share your experience if you used this material.TIA :)

Hi!! What's the best way to study? I think I have access to ACCP 2018 material. Do you need to have updated material? :)
