Can somebody please clarify the difference between ASPH and CEPH Accreditation?
If there is a difference, which is better?
What are the benefits of one over the other?
Will there be any discrimination later if one wants to take a PhD or DrPH course or say a job?
Thanks in advance.

ASPH is for schools that are "School of Public Health" and CEPH accr. MPH programs are within other departments. For example, the OHSU MPH program is accr. by CEPH because it is within the OHSU School of Preventative Medicine. It doesn't mean that an ASPH school is any better than a school with just CEPH.

Students in ASPH schools are eligible for ASPH fellowships though, which are very competitive anyway. Just make sure the schools you apply to have at least one of these accr.

Hope this helps.
