I'm applying to medical school for the upcoming cycle but I hear that some people already started their applications and secondary applications? How is this possible?

You can't officially start anything but on page 1 of each of the school forums are a list of what the secondary questions were for this cycle and they often reuse the same questions. You can start preparing your answers now to minimize the amount of time you will spend when you get bogged down with secondaries. Good luck!
