So is anyone thinking about PGY2? For those who have completed PGY2, did you have to move to a different city/state to find a job? How is the current job market for post-pgy2?

Depends on the PGY2 and depends on where you want to practice.
I had two preferences for location (both saturated markets). I took a clinical position before moving to a true specialist position within 6mo from when I started. The hospital knew they were planning on hiring another specialist in my field in the next fisicial yr. I waited, took the dentralized staffing job, was promoted, and am now doing what I trained for.
A lot of it is luck and timing.

Thinking about it....it's tricky...lots of factors to consider.
