I tried to do a search but I got a lot of "other" Midwestern results :p

This looks like a small school with a small MA program, but it's dual clinical/counseling and prepares for both the LPC and LPA. It's not too expensive, and they give a lot of funding.

I took a look at the faculty, lots of state school PhDs and stuff...

Does anyone know anything more intimate? Quality of training/reputation?

I don't think that Texas is going to move to a CACREP/CORE only model anytime soon, but I would go for the 60 hr. program because as of 2015 the LPC will be a 60 hour min.

I've known and worked with some LPC/LPA from Midwestern and they seemed happy with the program. Many of their MS/MA in psychology/counseling students are accepted at APA accredited PhD/PsyD clinical/counseling psychology programs.
