Addictionologist/Psych tox fellowship?

Hey is this possible.
Im boarded in addiction and psych and was wondering if I would be eligible to apply for a tox fellowship...any thoughts?? it seems to make sense...maybe Im way off

You could do a tox fellowship if you could convince a PD to take you as a fellow, but you wouldn't be able to get BC in med tox coming from psych. Just curious: if you're already BC in addiction, what would be the advantage of doing a second fellowship in med tox?

...anyone can apply, but you have to convince a PD to take you on. This might be tough depending on how you're supported (e.g. a lot work ED shifts).

Also, not being EM/Peds/OccMed you're not eligible to take boards, as you need to hold BC in the sponsoring board in order to sit for Med Tox.
