[EMPOWERurSELF!]

I'm sure the process varies from school to school, but I was wondering how admissions committees decide who to grant interviews to. Does the entire committee meet together, look over the whole app, and then vote on you or something? How much time do you really think is spent looking at all of the primary and secondary app materials? It seems like theres no way this could happen seeing the large numbers of people applying. Just wondering; this entire process still confuses me sometimes!

I think some schools just have a cut off for certain stats, and if you are in-state, then they'll give you an interview no matter what. But i could be wrong...
