accredited or unaccredited?

im just wondering if the PGY1 is unaccredited, can you still apply for the PGY2 accredited on the ASHP matching...?

PGY1 go accredited, PGY2 doesn't matter.

but you cannot do an accredited PGY2 if you do an unaccredited PGY1.

Exactly...which is why you need to do an accredited PGY1. Otherwise you greatly limit your options if you decide you want to do a PGY2.
