SC's still my numero uno, but it was satisfying to get the letter.

I Think that it's always satisfying to get the letter, whether it be your first or fifth. When you get two (or more) acceptances, you not only get to pick where you would (more) like to go, but you get to let another student into the school that you didn't choose (from their alternate list). As much as it would please me to hold out as long as possible with some of the "less helpful" admissions offices, I would really like to be able to give my extra spot to someone else who wants it.

Was this an email or an actual letter? Also if it's an actual letter, can you tell me if it's a thin envelope or is it pretty thick? I'm trying to figure out what to expect.

it's a thin one. so it's hard to tell if it's acceptance or rejection until you read it.
once you accept the offer online, they'll mail you more info.
