I have 200 hours of free clinic volunteering, which I could classify it as either "clinical" or "volunteering" depending on what I would be missing on my app. I have 80 hours of Meals on Wheels volunteering.
My question is, would 200 clinical hours be enough? For context, I also graduated this year with a 3.68 GPA, 500 hours research with 2 poster presentations, 3 years as board member for a premed college club, and about 4 years as alto in choir. Planning to take MCAT in January 2024.
I applied to about 5 scribe companies this summer but haven't heard anything back, so I'm not hopeful about my prospects there.
I'm trying to decide whether I should prepare to apply in 2024, or spend time trying to get a certification and real job to then apply in 2025. Thanks in advance for any advice!
