As get ready to put together a rank list, I thought it would be fun to hear from natives about their city/town and maybe this will sway our decision one way or another as we decided where we want to pack our bags to.

I'll start. I lived in Seattle a number of years, so gotten to know it quite well.

The goods:
- Ton of outdoors stuff, beautiful lakes and mountains
- Very liberal, green, and athletic culture (is this still true?)
- Laid back and nice people
- Good amount of culture (not LA, SF, Chicago, or NY though)

The bads:
- Rainy/wet/cloudy all year round, although summer is wonderful
- Passive aggressive as hel!
- Small/medium city, but not as much night life, downtown shuts down fairly early, crappy place for singles.
- Not much diversity
- Terrible traffic
- Expensive housing and high cost of living

A pretty good article recently
