Year 3 at UCLA

What is the best way to prepare ourselves for 3rd year at dental school? I have heard that it is a lot tougher than first year as we need to cope up with block rotations and patients. A detailed response will be appreciated. How many hours do we spend in the clinics? Are students required to do pre-clinical work as well?
