Yale vs. UMass

Long time lurker here in need of some last minute rank list help. Not sure how to rank these two relative to each other...

Both Yale and UMass seem like great programs with awesome ultrasound, critical care, ems, and international experiences. I'm looking into going into academics after and seriously considering a fellowship. I think I liked Yale's program better over all but am not convinced of the necessity of a fourth year (especially if I pursue a fellowship).

Any current applicants have any insights? Any residents want to sell their program?

Both were great up and coming programs in my opinion, with deep resources. As long as you are willing to fly and if you are seriously thinking of doing fellowship than I would say a three year program would make more sense.
