Hey guys! I just thought I'd start a thread for people to post stats/ when they've heard back and whatnot. I haven't seen one for WUSTL. We should be hearing back by next month!
Anyone hear anything from WUSTL yet?Same here. I saw that last year they started sending out letters on October 27th, so I was hoping to hear back by now.
I emailed them and was told they'd start sending out decisions by the end of NovemberAnyone hear anything from WUSTL yet?
Same!! Ugh I'm so stressed outLosing my mind waiting!! Only today and tomorrow left in November. I have a deposit for another school due next week, so I really want to know (in case I get in, I want to have time to make the decision)
Only an hour or so left in the month so probably not happeningI emailed them and was told they'd start sending out decisions by the end of November
HOPE SO!!Well. Maybe today?
UGH! I wish they would just tell us when they will tell us! Anyone feel like calling to ask??And so the wait begins again. It probably won't happen on a Monday though. My deposit for another school is due Thursday so I'm very anxious to hear.
WOW-- GREAT news! Thanks for the update and congrats!!UPDATE: They said by the end of the week. They've been having technical problems which is what has made the decisions take so long to send out. She also said I should be receiving 'good news' so I'm trying not to freak out and think that I got in
That's awesome, congrats!! Thanks for emailing them!UPDATE: They said by the end of the week. They've been having technical problems which is what has made the decisions take so long to send out. She also said I should be receiving 'good news' so I'm trying not to freak out and think that I got in
I guess I understand if they're having issue with their software or whatever, but they could send an email out saying when they will have decisions, or post on their website or SOMETHING!? I feel that generally, as a school, WUSTL is super responsive but this is just weird.
@cmakepeace2013, did they ever get back to you?

Haha actually with scholarship WashU is only 1k more (if I do the MOT program). And as great as the program looks I am leaning towards WashU just because their are more resources, they have connections with top fieldworks sites and they have way more professors engaged in research. Im still incredibly happy with both schools but thats just where my head is at currentlyCleveland state is probably alot cheaper than Wash U. It is nice to graduate without debt
HI I just got accepted as well and received about the same amount of money ! I am going to try and see if there are more scholarships available.I was accepted 12/20 to the MSOT program (but if attending, will consider switching to the OTD program)!!! Beyond thrilled by my admissions as I LOVE the program but still debating due to $$$ and still waiting to hear back for most schools that I applied. Just curious, to those of you that have been accepted already, did they offer you merit based scholarship money with your offer? I received some, but only a tiny bit, maybe 3k a semester? Do you know if assistantships were also offered at the same time, or can I still apply for those?
I sent in my check a couple of weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them. I also checked about an hour ago and the check hasn't been cashed either :/Has anyone sent in their deposit check yet? If so, has it been cashed?
do you get paid for that?I wasn't offered any scholarships but was offered a graduate assistantship instead.
Thank you so much for posting - I would really love to hear your thoughts about the WUSTL program! I have been accepted to WashU and UIC, and I am trying to decide between the two. UIC's program is more affordable and 5 months shorter, but WUSTL has a lot to offer!
What set apart WUSTL for you, and has it lived up to your expectations? What is the class structure like, and that of a typical day or week? Is it easy or difficult to get fieldwork placements that interest you? Is it beneficial or necessary to have a car? What does financial aid look like, and is it advisable to get an off-campus job to supplement? Are there assistantships or work study offered? What are your favorite things about the program, and St. Louis? Your least favorite things? How do opportunities differ for master's and doctorate students? I have heard that WashU's program has a strong research focus - what does that mean for your experience as a student?
Thank you so much for your help!! I hope you have a great break.
Yes, I think that it is normal. The social security number is used by the financial aid office in determining your package.Did you guys have to send a copy of your social security card with your intent to enroll? Is this normal?
