OK -- it's that time of year again. Advice on how to prepare for the written clinical boards? Is it as paper/data driven as I hear (i.e. do you have to remember the numbers on pg. X of RTOG XX-XX)? What's the best way to prepare if you don't have access do a lot of recalls?

Thanks! :)

The written boards is fairly straightforward and general, i.e. not very nitpicky. The best way to prepare, honestly, is simply to stay awake during your four years of rad onc residency. The inservice exam is fairly representative of the type of questions you'll encounter on the clinical exam, but the board exam is quite a bit easier, and you won't be rushed for time.
