General Admissions & OTCAS Would a committee letter be helpful for OT school admission?

Hello all!

I was recently invited to be a member of the prehealth committee at my university. It requires a bit of involvement and the benefit would be receiving a committee letter for applying to OT school. Is this beneficial? I know the OTCAS doesn't allow you to add one directly to your application.
