Hey Guys -

Planning to apply into rad onc; I have a 219 step I which I know doesnt help. My research is good though Im not a phD. Id like to take step 2 and be serious about it so that I can learn some of those loose ends i have lingering. I basically have 4 wks off but have to finish my essay and ERAS and such. What score would make this worth taking now as opposed to after applying? Can I achieve this by doing Uworld and another source or two. Thanks!

I would say that your performance during third year clerkships and their corresponding shelf exams are your best predictor of possible success on step 2. If you did well, then 4 weeks of study time is plenty to do well on step 2. Not sure about ideal radonc scores though...
