working in the u.s or canada???

need help!!! I am a Canadian citizen which like most of you ppl... did his studding out of Canada/u.s. I am thinking about moving back to Canada(mabe the u.s.) and want to study for the ndb exam's and enrol into a program for license to work as i dentist.
where is it better to start the program? u.s Canada?
can I work in the u.s after passing the exam's / program?
Do I need a work viza?
do I have to go back to Canada and take another exam ?
please need advice?
