" What do you mean by "women's health?" ''
That was kind of my question I guess. Do OBGYNs nowadays also treat medical problems in women? Its just that I always see the term kind of separate. I understand OBGYNs are classified as primary care here whereas where I trained OBGYNs are specialists. So am I right to assume the primary care aspect is what the term ''women's health" represents?
As per my second question I understand I can make my practice what I want at the end. It's residency I am concerned about. I really do like obgyn and dont mind doing the surgery but just concerned I may not be really good at it or something. In fact if I were to train as an OBGYN and then return to my country I would be consulted mainly for all the surgical aspects of it.
