Hey so I recently graduated from my post bacc program but I am unable to secure a job. I've had several interviews but no luck. Right now I have several medical school interviews coming up but no job. Am I screwed?
Can you elaborate on why you think you are screwed?

During Interviews at Medical Schools, it was my understanding that you should be able to discuss your work or volunteering that you are currently doing during the interview. Doesn't it look bad if you do not have a job or volunteer position? or do they take into consideration covid and how it is affecting the job market for new graduates?

You don’t have to be doing anything right now. You’re not “screwed”. If worse comes to worst and you feel that your insecurities will affect your interviews, get some friends together, pick up garbage off the street (while wearing masks), and at interviews say you Started an organization for garbage cleanup (which you did).

there are many ways around this. Just be creative.
