Will "interventional orthopedics" encroach on ortho surgery?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
If any of that voodoo works, it will siphon the crazy people out of my clinic who don't need surgery anyway

So yeah, I hope this takes off in a BIG way

I was part of a team that worked with one of the Board of Directors for this outfit. His clinic was essentially people coming in to pay cash for their 'choice' of biologic cocktail to be injected into whatever joint that was ailing them. The intake paperwork was like a menu.

That's not to say interventional ortho isn't intriguing...but you can't have the cart before the horse.
