do you mean 2 has fewer mol/[unit weight] than 1? That would make sense, because if we want 1 gram of each compound, and compound 2 weighs more than compound 1, it would require fewer molecules (i.e. fewer moles) to reach 1 gram of compound 2 than compound 1.
