I am starting to wonder why NBOME thinks the shelf exams could look like step1 questions and yet, test people completely differently on the real step 2. Also, why are they putting out comsae exams that overpredict the step2 scores (from reading the comments on the comlex II thread). Are we allowed to question anything?
Why don't the NBOME shelf exams reflect the Comlex Step II?

Because the NBOME sucks in general and couldn't put together a quality examination (be it a COMAT shelf exam of a COMLEX board exam) if it depended upon the life of the NBOME itself. The quicker you accept that it sucks now, sucked in the past, and will suck in the future, the better off you'll be.
