Hello!
With my DPT program start date just around the corner I was wondering what loan options you all were considering/using to pay for school.
As of now I'm lucky enough to have a Merritt scholarship that pays a good chunk of my first years tuition, but I still have to come up with about 35k.
As of now I've applied for FAFSA and have the $20,500 unsubsidized student loan waiting for me to accept and I applied for the grad plus loans to make up the 15k difference.
But I'm curious if there are better loan options with better interest rates out there that I'm unaware of. So I've been avoiding accepting my financial aid incase I come across something better! I could really use the help and insight because I'm going at this totally blind and really want to make the best/most educated decision before locking myself into student debt.
Thank you!!! And good luck to everyone about to start DPT school!
