There's a one year masters in oral health science program at Boston University that is a feeder program for dental schools. Also McGill University has Masters in Dental Sciences programs that has also allowed people to get into dental school all over the US and Canada. You can also do preceptorship programs or simply do research in a dental related field (ideally at a location with a dental school) to beef up your resume for a year if that is what you're looking for.
