When to apply for AEGD

Hey everyone, can someone help me out in some general information about AEGD programs and the application cycle. I was wondering if it matters when to apply for AEGD programs? The earlier the better? Or do invites only get sent out after the deadlines?

Apply early. My PD preferred early applications. But I am sure some PD's don't care as long as the applications are submitted before the deadline.
