When do you apply for the military scholarships?

I was wondering when the appropriate time was to apply for military scholarships? Do you start filling out paperwork after you get accepted to a dental school or can you fill everything out before hand and wait for acceptance? I just want to make sure of the timeline, if it's something that needs to be done at the same time school applications go in.

Start your app a year before your matriculate into Dental School- you dont have to be accepted to start the application, but you do need to be accepted to officially complete it. It gives you time to chill out and complete the process at your own rate. You can do the application in dental school, but you are going to lose money.
