Just wondering what all you need to send with your application for Sydney's medical school. I looked at the website for international students but it seems as if the application is not available until the middle of may. Do they require the same stuff as US schools? As in letters of recommendations and stuff? (I know they require the MCAT and of course a transcript). Also, does anyone know what a "competitive" US gpa would be?

Thanks!

Hi,

When applying to the University of Sydney, you send an application to ACER (which is like AMCAS in America). ACER is the centralized center that accepts applications and transcripts and here is their address if you want to look through them: http://www.acer.edu.au/. You don't need to send any letters of recommendations or intent and you don't need to provide an autobiographical account of extracurriculars. Of course, they make ask you about these experiences in an interview.

Good luck!
