I am entering my second year in my MPH program and wondering if I have a shot with high rated public health programs, more likely mid-range or if I should shoot for only fallback type PhD programs. My stats are:
Undergrad GPA: 3.1
MPH GPA: 3.75
GRE: 157, 157, 4.0
Research: One year of research with skin cancer institute. Research won't be done by time of apps.
Experience: One year internship with Arizona Department of Health Services doing an analysis of their skin cancer education program, two years as a TA teaching my own microbiology labs.
References: Senior professor who I'm doing research for, professor that I have been a TA for for two years, internship advisory
Interests: cancer epi
If anyone has thoughts I would appreciate them!
