Hey guys I read a lot of threads and once in a while I land on some posts discussing clerkships and how it will help you better to land a residency at the location of interest. What is a clerkship, how and when does a pod student do this? Any other comments, info regarding the matter is welcome too, Thanks.

Clerkships are external podiatric rotations. When and where is dependent on your school and your preference. I believe that all schools allow you to rotate for at least 4 months. The two schools with the highest number of clerkship opporunities are Scholl and CPMS, 7 and 8 respectively. At CPMS, they also have a core clerkship, where you will spend 4 months at one program.

More info is available on the www.casprcrip.org website.

Speaking of clerkships, what does anyone know about Gundersen Lutheran in LaCrosse? Has anyone been there by chance?
