Hmmm...what kind of answer are you looking for? Obviously we all hope to be practicing medicine, and many of us plan to be doing some research at the same time.

But that's where the similarities end. As for specialty, future plans, family, etc., just about every type of person exists out there, and it's all good.

...and I'll add that I'll be digging myself out of debt.

Seriously, I hope to be working with community organizations or health clinics to design health education programs in underserved communities. Not sure how soon after residency this is likely to occur, but I have to keep some hope alive.
