Will they use the common name or the historical name? For example, will it be "Lateral Medullary Syndrome" or "Wallenberg's Syndrome" ? "Werdnig–Hoffmann disease" or "Spinal Muscular Atrophy" ? etc etc...

They don't very often use the name because they'll describe the disease, and you diagnosing it is half the question.

Sometimes the common names of things aren't used and you have to eliminate the other choices which you know are wrong to get to the right answer.
