This website I found, http://www.footsurgeryatlas.com/procedure-type.htm, has some photos of F/A procedures done by orthopods. Are these what pods are trained to perform? All three podiatrists I have shadowed have either not allowed me an OR or don't do surgery, so just kind of interested. Thanks!

Yes, a well trained podiatrist performs all of those.

Would these be considered elective then? I say that because it seems like fracture repairs, amputations, and other non elective or trauma procedures are missing.

It depends on the situation, you could use some of those procedures in emergency settings (like the achilles repair).
