My house has a room available on Oct. 1st!
We are looking for a housemate to round out our house of three people. Rent is $1150 and utilities come out to about $80-$100 per month (water, gas, electric, Verizon Fios).
The room: 10x13 unfurnished bedroom on the second floor. Two tall front facing windows, skylight in raised ceiling and double door lit closet. Can comfortably fit a dresser, desk, mirror, and queen size bed. Private bathroom with large closet for extra storage, sky light, and a jet bathtub.
The house: Petworth row house. Lots of natural light, hard wood floors (carpeted basement), central heating and cooling with nest thermostat, and new appliances! Bright and open kitchen, sun room, dining area, large living room, and half bath on the main floor. Washer/dryer in the basement, a shared space with couch and tv, and storage space. Large backyard with deck, swing, plenty of outdoor furniture, and parking spot available with electric garage door. Also a treehouse! Plenty of street parking Non-smoking, no pets
The housemates: Two friends in their 30s. Owner is upstairs and friend is in the basement. Both of us are fully vaccinated and currently working remotely. We have a good balance of doing our own thing and spending time together (ie. enjoy watching movies, cooking, game nights, and grabbing drinks).
The neighborhood: Restaurants - Splash Run, Hitching Post, Cinder BBQ, Timber Pizza Company, Honeymoon Chicken, Menya Hosaki, Qualia Coffee Grocery - Safeway, Yes! Organic Market, Metro/Buses - Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro (yellow/green line)/H8, 62, 63, 64, 70 all within a 15 min walk.
