Hey guys I have been thinking about applying to the Texas school for the cheapest tuition as an OOS student. I was also looking into UCLA/UCSF as it would give me a decent chance of specializing but my priority would be any texas schools. I do know that all these schools are very competitive for OOS students but I would like some opinions on if its even worth applying for me.

My Stats:
GPA: 4.0
sGPA: 4.0
AA: 27
Science Avg: 30
PAT: 21
Major: Biology
Minority: Yes
Race: Asian
Disadvantage consideration (ADEA question): Yes (not sure if schools care about this though)
Applying: Mid-late July
Shadowing: 100hrs
Volunteering: 130hrs
Dental club officer organizing events like (free kids dental care with OHSU dental students, teaching my strategies about DAT, recruiting sponsors): 200 hrs
DAT advisor for DAT Booster (paid): 30hrs
Club sports: 100 hrs
Work (paid): 200hrs

Any input would be really appreciated thanks!!!

What is your state of residency?

You can try applying to texas esp since stats are great. Of course it is slim chances for OOS as you know
Thanks, I am from Oregon. I will be applying there as a back up but I do want to move out of Oregon and explore other cities if it doesn't cost me way too much.

A lot of my schools have very low OOS rates, thats why I have some other schools as a backup (I don't mind paying couple hundred extra just to be safe) and I don't care about where it is realistically.
