Hi everyone!! Thanks so so much to everyone who can help. I’m trying to make a realistic medical school list and would appreciate advice. As an international, my options are a bit limited so want to make as good a list as possible!

  1. cGPA: 3.84 sGPA: 3.80 (upward trend)
  2. MCAT: 517 C/P: 129 CARS: 129 B/B: 128 P/S: 131
  3. non-US, citizenship: country in Central Asia, on F1 visa but in Connecticut
  4. Ethnicity: Central Asian
  5. Rising senior at T10 undergrad
  6. Clinical experience: 1-1.5 years 100-150 hours (volunteering at hospital, clinic, hospice), 80 hours shadowing
  7. Research experience: no pubs, no posters, 2 years, internal university fellowship for money
  8. Non-clinical volunteering: 200 hours
  9. Other extracurriculars: a couple of leadership positions in clubs, foreign language tutor (I am a native speaker)
  10. Awards: internal university research fellowship

Here’s what I’m tentatively thinking:

Yale University
NYU Grossman
Albert Einstein
Stanford
Mt Sinai
Brown
Northwestern
Emory
UConn
Geisel Dartmouth
Stony Brook
Rutgers
Boston
NYU Long Island
St Louis
UNC Chapel Hill
Pittsburgh
SUNY New York
Sidney Kimmel
CUNY New York
West Virginia University
UC Davis
Illinois

While you have good stats, your clinical and non clinical hours are at the minimum for screening and you have no physician shadowing. Schools such as UC Davis admit only 2 to 3 non residents yearly and CUNY only admits students through their undergraduate program.
Your best chances are at DO schools and I suggest these:
AZCOM
CCOM
KCU-COM
NSU-KPCOM
MSUCOM
UNECOM
Touro-NY
WCU-COM
WESTERN
For MD schools you could try these:
George Washington
Jefferson
Loma Linda (if you fit their mission)
Medical College Wisconsin
New York Medical College
UConn

Hey there! I had similar stats (3.89/516) as an international student and was able to get in this cycle. My application was also research heavy and geared towards global health.
