I'm a female Native American and enrolled in my tribe. I volunteer for a Native American Center (hopefully, read below).

3.93 GPA. Only A's, a few A- grades. Nothing lower!

MCAT was rough for me: 126, 127, 128, 130

Great LOR's from undergrad professors, main employer, and good LOR's from research undergrad supervisors

I'm married and have been out of undergrad for two years (non-trad because I am married)

My current job is working at a research lab in a top 5 university. I have an AMAZING letter of rec from this job, and I collaborate closely with a lab at HMS.

Clinical experience: EMT for one year

Honors thesis: research project with underserved community near my undergrad school

EC's during college: tutoring at learning center on campus for 2 years, resident assistant, research assistant in lab 1 for 1.5 years, research assistant in lab 2 for 1 year, powerlifting (qualified for nationals)

ECs out of college: singing (actually good too), drawing (actually good too), powerlifting ((qualified for nationals), wedding floral designs

My volunteering is what is lacking. I volunteered for my school's disability service, approximately 240 hours. I have been trying with emails and phone calls to get a volunteer position since before the pandemic, and I am really having trouble. I am just starting a position at the Native American center now -- I've been emailing back and forth with them.

With my URM status, WAMC at top schools?
