Welcome to the forums!

Please describe in better detail your responsibilites with 150 hours of non-clinical volunteering, especially the hours you have gained since graduating. Have you shadowed a DO? Did you grow up in Maryland or have been living there since college/gap years?

150 hours of non-clinical volunteering includes volunteering at soup kitchen where we packaged and distributed foods. The remainder of those hours are the crisis text line volunteer where I hope to be getting more hours by the time to apply. Born and grew up in Maryland, went to public state school (not JHU). Have worked with DOs at my jobs and through volunteering but have not personally shadowed DO.

Thoughts on adding these schools?
Wisconsin: cGPA, sGPA, and MCAT all within IQR
U Illinois: Within IQR for cGPA and MCAT; sGPA between the 10th and 90th
U Indiana, Geisinger: MCAT within IQR; cGPA and sGPA between the 10th and 90th
Stryker, Pitt, Geisel: All metrics between the 10th and 90th percentiles
Ohio state: MCAT above 10th

What is your specific interest in these schools?

Check OOS tuition for Illinois. How many admitted students from Maryland are in the most recent incoming class at the schools?

Many of those schools are state public schools that admit few non residents with your stats and no connection to the state. Geisinger also has a strong regional preference.

What is the split between these hours? The text line stuff is important but adcoms will like your soup kitchen more just because its in person.
