Hi, I got my MCAT today and it is lower than all my AAMC practice tests. I don't plan on retaking since I believe it is good enough for DO? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. My AAMC practice tests were 510, 508, 511, 513, 514 all taken under similar to test day conditions.
  1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS 3.0 cGPA and 3.0 sGPA. Postbacc of about 60 hours at a 4.0 included. My gpa was around a 2.6 before the postbacc and unfortunately had a lot of science classes at a low gpa for my undergrad.
  2. MCAT score(s) and breakdown: 507 126/123/128/130
  3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): GA
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: ORM
  5. Undergraduate institution or category: Georgia Tech
  6. Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer):
    1. CNA 300 hours, ongoing
    2. Patient transport 1,500 hours.
  7. Research experience and productivity: None
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented
    1. 20 hours Radiology
    2. 20 hours cardiology
  9. Non-clinical volunteering:
    1. 50 hours food bank, ongoing
    2. 150 hours trail maintenance, ongoing
  10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc):
    1. Worked as a mechanical engineer for 4 years full time
    2. Campus tour guide
    3. Supplemental Instructor in Chemistry
    4. Mentorship through school
    5. Treasurer for social fraternity
  11. Relevant honors or awards: NA other than presidents lists(4.0 for a semester) a few times
  12. Anything else not listed you think might be important
    1. Strong family ties to NY and less to Texas
    2. Also thinking of doing HPSP for Army
I plan on applying to my state MD school as well as Mercer, and mostly DO since I know my application isn't very competitive for MD. Was planning on applying to the PCOMs, NYITCOM, ACOM, but I don't know what other schools I should apply to. Welcome any suggestions for schools as well as way to improve my app.

I suggest these DO schools with your stats:
PCOM Georgia and South Georgia
ACOM
WCU-COM
NYIT-AR
UIWSOM
WVSOM
UP-KYCOM
LECOM (all schools)
MU-COM
Noorda-COM
LMU-DCOM
ARCOM
BCOM
ICOM
LUCOM
KHSC-COM (new school)
Your only weakness is your low GPA so hopefully some schools will concentrate more on your MCAT and ECs.
