Hi, I am looking for a pgy2 position in familyHey there. Im currently a PGY2, soon to be PGY3 at a very reputable and strong FM residency in Kansas City, MO. We had one resident quit due to career changes and dropping out of medicine, and a second one just matched rads and so we are down two PGY1s and are thus left with 2 open spots for PGY2 next year. We are a trauma 1 hospital affiliated program that is basically unopposed (we have ortho who do 1/3 lf their cases here but they dont share any rotations with us). Otherwise, its just us. We work closely with all the specialists and have academics with a specialty over lunch every day, including teaching sessions with attendings in the afternoon. All attendings and residents are super nice and approachable and we're like a giant family. I honestly love my program. We have a great clinic. We are very hospitalist focused and almost half our grads practice hospitalist medicine after. We also have a good reputation with all the hospitals in town so our grads get snatched up pretty fast. One of our attendings also owns one of the physician groups in town and hires on multiple graudates each year. If you want to know more, PM me 😁

(also... you need to have graduated medical school within the last 5 years and have had your PGY1 year in the United States to be considered)
when did you finish this year of residency?Hi. I did one year of IM in an ACGME accredited program, and US citizen.
Let me know if position is still available.
