Verbal IQ test help

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help from people much wiser than myself! I have just started my Msc psychology dissertation and want to study whether verbal IQ can be linked to birth order. All the studies I've looked at use the Weschler IQ test, but I don't think I can access this at my current level. Does anyone know of a test for verbal IQ that would be appropriate for me to use and wouldn't cost me too much? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Adult or pedi population? There is the CVLT (California Test of Verbal Learning), which has both adult and child forms, though I'm not sure it would be any more accessible to you than a Wechsler test.

Your advisor should be able to help you with this and other aspects of your study design.
