Patient triggered inspirations are generally easy to spot. Any tips for identifying when the ventilator is cycling an inspiration (just by evaluating the waveform - absent of knowing the mode set on the machine)? The only thing I can tell thus far is when there is an abrupt drop of flow at a level greater than what would otherwise be physiologically normal.
Any other ideas?
