Has anybody started apartment hunting yet?

Has anybody started apartment hunting yet? I live in NY, so it's kinda hard for me to find housing. I'm wondering if I have to start looking now, to get really good deals. Would it be too late if I waited till May/June to look for apartments in Spartanburg?

Any advice from the current Carolinas students? Would you mind sharing your house-hunting experiences?

Hey, I'm not sure if you're already in it or not but you would have much better luck getting answers from these two facebook groups. Lots of current and incoming students post on there and all the current students have been great about answering questions from us incoming people.

This one is specific to the class of 2016 but has a few class of 2015 people floating around who give their two cents

I'm from Maryland so I know how you feel about the apartments. It's going to be tough trying to meet a roommate and find a place in just that weekend but I guess a lot of us are in the same boat.
