Hey y’all,

I’m set to take USMLE at the end of June and I’m just starting my dedicated studying. I just got thru my first pass of FA biochem and it’s definitely my weakest subject.

Today, I took the UWorld self assessment form 1 and got back a 3 digit approx. score of 175 with 50% of questions correct.

I’m a bit disappointed but I also realize I basically went in cold and I’m just now getting into dedicated review of stuff I haven’t really looked at in months and months.

That said, do I have anything to worry about with this score and just over 2 months to go? Any tips?

Thank you!

You can do it - don’t judge your score until you have at least 1 Question bank under your belt ideally 2. 2 months to do 5000 questions at least (either 2 unique qbanks or uworld twice)

that means doing 2-3 blocks a day if you’re just starting plan to take 3-4 hours per blocks... plus 3 hours to do the blocks ...

You’re looking at 12-18 hours of study time. You can do it though!

Plan out your days
And also don’t forget to plan days for nbmes and review.

Good luck!
