Started a new thread because it seems no one is responding to the old ones anymore.
Anyways I have been considering USUHS because not only is it cheaper, however, also has lower matriculant profiles. Not to mention I would like to do USAF. I read a lot about military medicine, so don't think I'm just applying here for the money. Really interested in USAF as well.
I was wondering how branch assignments were determined. I know you get a list and you rank them. However do they give stronger applicants higher priority on their first pick, or is it first come first serve on how early you apply in the cycle. Or is it a mix.
Appreciate any feedback. Feel free to drop in the main differences of the branches with regards to the MD route.
