I have been very impressed by the USCAP interactive microscopy session.

However, the course “Gynecologic Pathology: Navigating Histologic Mimics and Other Diagnostic Pitfalls” Mesenchymal Tumors of The Uterus (part 1 and 2) by Teri A. Longacre.

This is horrible bad. She is complete unprepared and have forgotten half of the slide.

Do not buy this!

Are they supposed to be useful? What details would such sessions provide to a practicing pathologist that cannot be found in PubMed or in the books?

I've always wanted to attend one of those Video Microscopy sessions in Palm Springs. Most of the videos I've seen have been good. I purchased one of their breast series which I found helpful and usually they have a couple complimentary ones up at a given time.

Maybe it is just the particular faculty. I think she moderated the Long Course at CAP '21 Annual Meeting.

I find them useful. You can learn a very practical approach to cases.

You will see the whole slide and not just pictures and the audience will most often ask question that you have yourself.
