In light of last nights results, need some information as I consider my options:
Canadian citizen
Canadian medical school
Passed mcc1
Passed usmle 1,2,3
Passed abim internal med board exam
Next july will complete a 1 year fellowship in palliative care
Questions:
With cpso's pathway 3, i could work in ontario without any further training needs.
To work or get a job as an internist in canada, do i need the rcc im boards or is abim sufficient.
Same question for palliative care (if i write the abim do i need the rcc boards).
In summary, if cpso will give me a license to practice medicine, do i need to take the canadian board or are the american boards sufficent to get a job or work?
