University of Iowa Dental IS vs. OOS

Hello!
I will attend Drake University as a rising Junior this year. I would love to attend the University of Iowa Dental School, but I am an OOS student (MN). Having gone to undergrad in state (Des Moines, IA), is it more likely for me to be admitted to the program?

I know you will feel better if someone tells you yes, but honestly all you can control right now is getting the best grades you can. That will give you the BEST shot at getting into Iowa dental school. nothing else.

Iowa DOES seem to like their instate residents and likely so, they need to keep a supply of dentists for their state. However, I am out of state and I received an Interview today, so there is hope. Work hard, and blocks like IS, OOS don't make a difference anymore. Also, I am an Iowa student, so I would honestly consider a career in Iowa as a dentist.
