So, has anyone else noticed the financial aid package includes only tuition, fees, room and board?
Don't schools usually have a true CoA that includes things like: transportation, books, health insurance and misc?
I got 33,500 as well, pharmacist5870.... I am living off-campus (with a roommate), I think that is enough to get by.
But yeah, I thought usually at least some of the other stuff was included.
If you don't feel you have enough loan money to live off of, you can submit your own budget to financial aid and ask for an increase in student loan funds. The worst they can do is say no. Then you could try for a signature student loan. There are some pretty good rates & terms for health science students. Here is a link to Ohio University's Medical School budget. The costs are pretty comparable to UCSOP, so maybe you could use this as a sample!
